ResponsibilitiesThe Systems Engineer II will develop and integrate engineering solutions for personal privacy protection and meeting legal obligations, while driving mission success. Supports the Office of Compliance Capabilities Technical Review, Certification team. The responsibilities of a System Certifier include the following:- Providing technical systems with compliance information and guidance during the certification process
- Assisting with outreach to have systems document their systems in KNIGHTSUPREME
- Provide direction to system development teams in the key compliance functional areas
- Interpret compliance requirements into system requirements
- Interact with various organizations at varying levels in public forums
- Review test artifacts to validate a system has satisfied each compliance requirement
- Complete system certifications for systems assigned to the SE
- Modify and update the certification SSR in a regular basis (at least weekly)
- Current and active TS/SCI with Full SCOPE polygraph based on a SSBI
- System Certification Process / Functions (purge, age off, access control, query auditing, targeting, etc.)
- Comfort with speaking to and leading groups of up to 20
- Confirming and validating compliance rules and policies are satisfied
- Ability to discuss System Requirements and how they can be implemented into various types of systems
- Strong experience with Microsoft products
- Demonstrated ability and comfort with collaborating with government personnel at all grades to provide assistance, coaching, and action reminders on a regular basis.
- Ability to work independently on event-driven tasks
- Thorough understanding of mission authorities, the technology architecture, and the Comprehensive Mission Compliance Program
- Demonstrated experience building consensus
- Strong coordination and analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of Mission architecture
