GEICO is looking for a highly motivated Workday Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our Workday Benefits & Compensation team. The position includes design, development, testing, and implementation of various types of configuration changes to help support our HR and Payroll departments. The team is also responsible for monitoring and identifying upcoming Workday enhancements, applying them to our existing configurations, and proposing new Workday capabilities to HR & Payroll for uptake.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Consult with business and technical teams to develop requirements
  • Collaborate on design decisions and implement enhancement
  • Design, develop and conduct unit and regression tests using Kainos
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution
  • Update system documentation, such as design documents
  • Analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
  • Review and troubleshoot issues detected on audit reports and work with our business users to resolve them
  • Run Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) files in Workday to load/correct transactions
  • Browse Workday Community to research solutions or propose enhancement to current processes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) or Payroll Workday modules
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Workday analysis skills and experience producing complex requirements
  • Self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Driven to achieve successful results
  • Able to quickly adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, yet function as an integral part of a dynamic team
  • Passionate about being part of a software development team
  • Commitment to see concurrent projects to successful completion
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience

Highly Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) or Payroll Workday modules strongly desire
  • Experience running Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) files in Workday
  • Experience in Workday Reporting including calculated fields
