This means fast, responsive, and well-designed content for readers, interactive engaging content for learners and powerful simple tools for authors.In this role, you must be passionate about web development, the right user experience and building big systems that can handle a lot of traffic. You also have an opinion on how things should be built and the processes by which we should get there; but your opinions are built on a respectable foundation of experience. Mentoring and advising other team members to help them improve and grow.

QualificationsRequirements3+ years of experience in designing and building user experiences for the web.

3+ years coding in HTML, CSS (LESS/SASS is ideal), JavaScript/TypeScript with a deep understanding of responsive web design and accessibility.

3+ years of experience with web fundamentals, application performance analysis and improvement.

Preferred skillsExperience with C# and Microsoft Azure

Solid UX design skills, including responsive and accessible design needs.

Experience with technologies like Single Page Applications, JSON, React and AJAX.

Experience with the Microsoft design language.

Experience improving services using alerting, monitoring, telemetry, etc.

Experience with client or server-side experimentation.
