As a

Scrum Master, you will manage projects and provide deliver solutions to the client. You will need to be knowledgeable of the Agile process methodologies to perform project initiation and execution.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Use knowledge of Agile process methodologies to perform requirements gathering and documentation to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
  • Use the knowledge of the Scrum methodology to execute within Agile environment.
  • Follow the project management process of project initiation, planning, execution, and closure to formally complete all projects in an above standard manner
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment- provide regular team status updates, Agile metrics reports, and frequently collaborate across other Scrum teams, Stakeholders, and Program Managers.
  • Use technical expertise in Big Data projects to lead cross functional Agile Teams. Engage with the technical resources on the team and across the program to compile product backlog, prepare and execute Sprints.
  • Use experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools to manage backlogs and drive scrum team of up to 10 individuals to complete work on time. Have experience working on and leading cross functional Agile Teams.
  • Have an ability to quickly adapt to changes.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and turn them into solid areas of development
  • Organize and facilitate business and technical discussions with the stakeholders for data-related requirements.
  • Aid Program Managers in collecting and presenting information to client leadership
  • Contribute to business opportunities, supporting Marketing and Sales, to result in new business captures.

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

Profile of Success

  • At least 5 years of software experience with recent experience with Cloud Technologies (Azure is a plus)
  • Two years of project management experience in projects developing software applications and two additional years of lead roles in custom application development engagements on the Microsoft technology platform
  • Big Data experience
  • Experience with data related projects.
  • Conceptual understanding of the high-level technical artifacts produced for the data projects.
  • Understanding of the data related processes.
  • Scrum Master certification

Desirable Skills

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional
