Do you love leading projects using data and cutting-edge technology to innovate customer experiences? Are you passionate about continuous improvement through Agile methodologies? As a Senior Scrum Master and Project Planner on the Data Operations Squad, you'll lead a scrum team working on our Single View of the Customer (SVOC) initiative and building out the GEICO ID! Your team's projects will utilize data to derive insights in real time to provide tailored customer experiences and make smarter business decisions.
Qualifications- 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or analyst on technical projects (Software Development, DevOps, or Big Data)
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing improvements to processes and projects
- Strong critical thinking, decision making, and analytical skills
- Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field (business, finance, mathematics, computer science), or equivalent professional experience is required
Preferred Qualifications:- Working knowledge of Big Data, the Hadoop Ecosystem, Docker, Spark, Graph Databases, and ETL/ELT workflows
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Confluence
- Experience leading Agile teams and project deliverables
