Title: Sr. Automation EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 6-month contract to hireOverview: This candidate will maintain broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for the firm. Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions. Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer. Represents the firm to external industry groups, influencing industry standards. Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer.Qualifications: • Overall experience of 8+ years into testing • Ability to independently perform Manual testing activities • Test Planning • Test Case Design • Test Data Management • Test Case Execution • Defect Management • Maintenance of Regression test suite & Plan Regression for releases. • Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, ALM • Ability to perform Automation activities using Selenium with Java as Programming language • Automation Tool assessment, • Automation framework enhancements, • In Sprint Automation, Script Development/Execution/Maintenance • Experience of automation frameworks - TestNG/BDD with Cucumber • Experience performing Database testing and well versed with writing SQL queries with Joins in Oracle/MS SQL. • Experience working on Ci-CD tools - Jenkins, GitHub, uDeploy, Artifactory, Maven • API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured API is an added advantage.EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
