Microbiologist

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Preparing and performing microbiological testing on various materials and matrixes following GLP and in accordance with EPA guidelines.Preparing and performing mycology and biological testing on various materials and matrixes following GLP and in accordance with EPA guidelines.Routine Quality Control of laboratory equipment, media, and microorganisms.Record data and results accurately and legibly on all documents.Technical report writing including text, tables, graphs, and diagrams.Follow and perform process qualifications and validations for procedures and/or equipment.Executes projects as assigned to meet changing laboratory needs and requirementsServes as point of contact for internal and external customers.Provides guidance and training to technical staff on the proper conduct of study assignments.Performs data analysis, first level and peer review of data.Works with independence on studies and assignments.Proper sterility procedures, including handling and disposal of samples and biohazardous waste.
