Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for a growing biotechnology company in

Elkridge, MD. The QA Manager will be responsible for managing the internal and external audit program to support the research and development of biopharmaceutical drugs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career supporting products anticipating commercial approval.

Responsibilities of the QA Manager
  • Conduct internal audits (cGMP), processes, and documentation, to support the manufacturing and testing of biopharmaceutical products
  • Perform external audits of suppliers and vendors
  • Review and release of raw materials
  • Manage the established internal audit program
  • Initiate and close CAPAs, OOS, Change Controls, and Deviations

Requirements of the QA Manager:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences related field
  • 5+ years of cGMP Quality Assurance experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical industry
  • 1+ years of supervising/leading a QA department
