Job SummaryThe Lead Custodian will oversee and provide cleaning services for student residences at CMI’s customer site in Emmitsburg, MD.Key Job FunctionsAssist the Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments assuring employee assignments are completed and meet the requirements of the contractTurn mattresses, change mattress encasements, strip, and make bedsRemove dirty bed and bath linen and provide fresh replacementsWash windows, windowsills, and blindsDust/clean furniture, fixtures, equipment, blinds, drapes, and other surfacesProvide and replenish restroom supplies and other supplies as neededSpot clean carpets and wallsClean showers, restrooms, stall partitions, doors, sinks, toilets, and tubsDust, clean, vacuum, and extract common areas, classrooms, offices, auditoriums, conference roomsRemove trashDust, wet mop, strip, and wax hard flooringSweep and clean stairwells, elevators, and building entrancesOther duties as assigned
