IT Field Support Technician for our direct client based in Towson, MD. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills. Job Details:Title: IT Field Support TechnicianLocation: Essex, MDDuration: 12 Months Basic Qualification: Must have a level of experience in Audio Visual Communicate effectively with all levels of customers including administrators, staff, students, and vendors. Installs and supports new devices along with accompanying the software (These devices can include computers, tablets, projectors, document cameras as examples) Coordinates the repair of student and teacher laptop computers including performing diagnostic repair procedures Installs and configures supported device operating systems Performs routine diagnostics and maintenance with multiple operating systems Installs and configures applications and other supported software packages Tests new releases for supported systems Performs network support and troubleshooting duties Provides consultation and/or training to teachers, staff, and students on the operation of technical equipment and software packages Troubleshoots hardware and software issues Assists teachers in resolving device-related problems Integrates knowledge and skills from a range of technologies to address work assignments and problems of moderate complexity Coordinates with vendors when necessary Participates as a team member on small and/or large projects Records activities in the work order system Updates/Creates internal supported system documentationVacancy expired!
