Apex Systems has an immediate need for a DevOps Developer. If interested, please send your resume over to Provide DevOps support on a large program providing IT Operations support for a globally distributed legacy system, cloud-based modernized replacement system, phase-in/phase-out support from legacy to replacement server as custom developed application package/installer development/support. Environment includes Windows servers (Server 2008, Server 2012, and Server 2016). General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other contractors, operational support to correct software coding deficiencies, utilizing tools such as InstallShield, NAnt scripts, PowerShell, and Python
- Assist with the accreditation activities as they relate to legacy DMLSS and JMAR from operations perspective.
- Possess approved DoD 8570.01-M IA baseline certifications required for the the IAT II positon category and level [one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH].
- Experience with the following tools/technologies:
- .NET Programming (intermediate experience)
- Deploy Visual Studio solutions
- PERL and Visual Basic scripting
- API calls
- Groovy scripting
- Understanding of Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 environments
- Java programming (entry-to-intermediate experience)
- Current working knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and automation is preferred.
- Experience with the RedHat OS and Windows OS is preferred.
- Experience in DevOps practices is desired (including SDLC).
