DSA is looking for Test Engineer with Top Secret Clearance and is eligable for a TS/SCI. This Test Engineer will work onsite at Fort Detrick Maryland.A successful candidate will work closely with the development team, external vendors, and therest of the quality assurance team to test and evaluate application releases and systemconfigurations. This position will require the candidate to work independently to test, evaluate,and make a fielding recommendation for the product under test. The candidate will also workwith the Information Assurance team to evaluate and maintain the security compliance ofsystems. The candidate will work with automated testing systems to complete some tests.Required Skills:The selected candidate should have an understanding of requirements analysis, system testing, system transition, and integration. The candidate should be able to coordinate with customers and service providers and effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.The candidate should be able to develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test cases, utilities,simulators, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. The candidate should alsobe able to perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.Desired Skills:Experience with Windows operating systems.Ability to take total ownership of assigned components.Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic environment.Self-driven Team PlayerExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with automated testing systemsRequired/Desired Education & Certifications:The qualified candidate should possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent in a computer science discipline.Experience will be acceptable in lieu of a college degree. CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
