Job Description: Leidos Defense and Intelligence Group is seeking an HBSS Engineer to support our DISA GSM-O Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS) program. As an HBSS Engineer/Specialist, you will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and will be involved in HBSS system deployment, configuration, and operational support and sustainment activities. In this role, you will act as the mid to senior support person and liaison for the JRSS HBSS implementation. In this capacity, you will also work with multiple JRSS teams, with DISA personnel, with vendor technical support personnel, and with technical representatives from DoD services.This position is located in Fort Meade, MD and remote work up to 75% may be allowed. An active Secret Clearance is required, with eligibility to obtain up to Top Secret as required by the program.Primary Responsibilities:- Administer McAfee ePO as well as all McAfee products via ePO.
- Manage and maintain the tuning of HBSS alerts, Firewall, Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), and Endpoint Security (ENS) on all managed endpoints.
- Manage Windows and Red Hat for Enterprise Linux systems via the ePO server.
- Provide McAfee product support and troubleshooting across environment systems.
- Provide support to System Administrators for various server platforms managed by the ePO.
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience is required. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience with the deployment, administration and troubleshoot of McAfee endpoint security products on Windows and Linux platforms
- Must hold current DoD 8570 IAT2 certification or higher - Security+ CE or CISSP
- You must hold an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance to work on this program. In addition, you must be able to successfully obtain up to Top Secret based on requirements from the customer and program.
- Mid to Senior level experience McAfee Administration (3+ years of experience)
- Must possess good knowledge of DoD STIGs.
- Must possess good written and oral communications skills.
- Must have completed McAfee training of DoD HBSS Administrator courses 201 and 301
- Possess knowledge of ACAS and Active Directory Group Policy Management
- Possess a basic knowledge of Windows and Red Hat for Enterprise Linux Servers types
