Associate-Level SharePoint DeveloperDescriptionJacobs is looking for talented individuals to join our team for DISA's Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) supporting the Test, Evaluation, and Certification (TEC) contract. We are seeking a associate-level SharePoint developer candidate or a web developer to assist in transforming the user experience and to automate business processes within existing portals. Daily functions require utilization of HTML, CSS, JQuery, Quest Web parts, Nintex workflow, and SharePoint Designer.The individual must have Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Designer 2013. Strong knowledge of and proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint Designer. The ability to create SharePoint site templates with custom libraries and lists. Web development experience should include iHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AngularJS, jQuery, and SPServices.The Associate SharePoint Developer is responsible for:

Providing content updates on Knowledge Management (KM) portals of all applicable program and product management artifacts throughout the life cycle of each ID product.

Creating and structuring portals necessary to display, disseminate and keep current knowledge and information in the most efficient and useable format for the program and the DoD customers.

Responding to Knowledge Management Request (KM Request) that are submitted via SharePoint site or website.

Providing customizations to SharePoint portal to automate business processes related to the ID portfolio products as it pertains to providing better service to the DoD customer and/or efficiencies in program management of the ID product.

Providing SharePoint site and content administration for maintenance of users and site content including adding/deleting users, adding/maintain permissions, creating/maintaining sites, workspaces, lists and libraries to include:

DEPS content updates on NIPR/SIPR

Patch Repository updates and site structure

DEPS site structure updates (sites, workspaces, lists, forms, dashboards, etc.)

Developing Knowledge Management Documentation to include user and administrator instruction guide updates, Portal/SharePoint updates and site structure including customizations in forms, lists, workflow, dashboards etc.

Maintaining FAQs, Knowledge Base and Standard Operating Procedures

Performing Site manager responsibilities for SCM program sites

Exhibiting strong analytical skills, customer service skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Displaying self-motivation, detail-orientation, the ability to multi-task, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

QualificationsEducation:

Requires

Associate's degree; or

A minimum of 60 semester hours towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience; or

At least 6 years of experience is required

Certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience.

The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.

Must have an active secret security clearance at time of hire.

Experience:

SharePoint administration: 3 years (Required)

Relevant computer programming: 1 year (Required)

SharePoint Site Manager Experience, content administration, permissions management, document libraries, and SharePoint Out of the box (OOB) functionality

JavaScript Application Frameworks (Angular.js, Kendo, Angular Material, etc. )

Web development/programming experience in JavaScript, jQuery, or any computer programming language

SharePoint experience including configuring web parts, workflow development, permissions management, working with content types and document libraries, and SharePoint designer.

SharePoint site configuration experience required

Troubleshooting SharePoint issues

Development of SharePoint content utilizing JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, CAML

Development utilizing JQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS, HTML, AJAX, CAML, and SharePoint Designer

Knowledge of features such as Custom Workflows, InfoPath/Forms Services and Excel Services.

Familiarity with the following Additional Qualifications: (optional)

Building and configuring SharePoint sites using: Out of the box (OOB) functionality, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Nintex workflow and SharePoint Designer

Familiarity with Quest web parts for SharePoint

Workflow design and implementation; site design and development

Essential Functions:Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.Work EnvironmentAn inside and outside environment (considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.Equipment and MachinesAbility to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.AttendanceCore work hours will be between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.Other Essential FunctionsMust demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer’s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel.
