ASRC Federal is proud to continue our expansion at DISA in support of securing vital DoD network and Cyber Security environments. In this effort, ASRC Federal is seeking a highly motivated cleared individual who is looking to take on the challenge of integrating across technologies in support of Cyber defense and whose efforts will have a direct impact on the future of DoD Endpoint security. The Department of Defense (DoD) through the Defense information Systems Agency (DISA) is developing integrated endpoint enterprise solutions in support of the DoD Global Information Network (DoDIN). The intent of this effort is to ensure the security posture of the DoDIN through the acquisition, engineering, and lifecycle management of secure and reliable mobility and endpoint capabilities. DISA is working to continue to design, maintain, and improve upon a secure environment to conduct endpoint cyber defense and NetOps analysis to defend and secure these DoD networks.

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and deploy MS platforms to support and meet customer needs and requirements. Identify efficiencies and recommend opportunities for performance improvement and issue resolution. Develop and document technical standards. Monitor security certificates, compliance requirements, and implementing security measures. Document processes and perform diagnostic testing. Configure, deploy, test and evaluate vendor COTS and GOTS products for capabilities and compatibility. Train and mentor staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department. Administer systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks. Participate in special projects and performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Building end-to-end data pipelines to deliver reliable and reproducible metrics, enable monitoring, articulate relevant insights and solutions based on data analysis, and build platforms to enable systems testing. Consistently demonstrate time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time while meeting deadlines. Demonstrate sound judgement skills with the ability to make timely decisions. Effective communication skills on all organizational levels, including speaking, writing, and active listening. Self-motivated, resourceful and flexible; able to work independently within team focused environment. Many of the challenges involve learning new technologies, industry standards, and having the flexibility to reprioritize tasking due to changing customer directives and requirements.

Responsibilities

In this support, ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Endpoint Security professional with the following qualifications.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field. Minimum of 5+ years related technical experience. +2 years of development experience in Windows/MacOS/Linux with modern C. Experience in Endpoint Security and Networking in a Federal Government environment. Experience configuring and integrating COTS software in support of enterprise security solutions. Experience with scripting languages with a strong emphasis on PowerShell. Experience with the integration of MS InTune, MS Azure, SCCM/MECM, Active Directory & App-V. Experience with threat hunting tactics, techniques, procedures and resolving logged errors on time. Experience designing, deploying and integrating enterprise endpoint security management systems. Experience managing agent-based endpoint packages. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security researchers, and Data Scientists. Must have strong communication skills with a solid understanding of IT Security concepts including Vulnerability & Patch Management, Security Operations, Incident Management and Response. Experience integrating layered security using network security architecture concepts using defense in depth and zero trust. Endpoint Security systems design, architecture, configuration, documentation, deployment and standards. Excellent ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security researchers, Data Scientists, Government and contract teams. Experience with the current DoD Toolset is a plus. Candidates must currently hold a DoD Secret level clearance.
