This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. Salary Range: $89,931 - $183,500 (Full Performance, Senior, Expert).

The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirements between 0600 to 1800 hrs (flexible).SkillsSpecific desired experience includes:

- A range of experience in the field of semiconductor device manufacturing, specifically application specific integrated circuits (ASICs); - Familiarity with a wide range of semiconductor device manufacturing materials in the areas of insulating dielectrics, and interconnect metals and knowledge of superconducting materials;- Knowledge of semiconductor device manufacturing statistical process control, yield improvement, and failure analysis techniques; - Understanding of the entire semiconductor device manufacturing flow to include device design, manufacture/fabrication, test, and assembly;- Experience verifying and validating custom semiconductor processes required to manufacturing custom ASICs.

Required Skills:

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and possess the following knowledge and experience:

- 6+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing including areas such as semiconductor process engineering, semiconductor process integration engineering, yield enhancement, statistical process control, and failure analysis of semiconductor devices.- Manufacturing process experienced with materials used in semiconductor such as dielectrics and interconnect metals, superconducting materials is a plus;- Systems engineering and systems development;- Operational and developmental test and evaluation;- Functional requirements processes;- Strategic planning process and techniques;- A solid desire to oversee research team efforts;- Personnel and product safety, customer focused, and ability to close out projects completely;- Strong teaming and communication skills including leading design status communications, leadership briefings, and directing effective projects/meetings.ResponsibilitiesWould you like to work for the most esteemed, reputable, and established in-house research organization in the U.S. Intelligence Community?
