Cybersecurity Weapons Systems Engineer, LeadThe Challenge:Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on DoD systems? You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface, supporting our DoD clients in the analysis, engineering, planning, and strategy development related to threat, analysis, and architecture. You'll lead a team and develop your skills in model-based systems engineering and digital engineering while gaining experience in solving client problems as we go through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Join our team and help to turn requirements into accomplishments that drive change.Empower change with us.You Have:- 10+ years of experience with executing the systems engineering lifecycle and processes
- Experience with leading agile teams to support requirements development, modeling, design, development, and test of systems
- Knowledge of defining security requirements, security assessments and security recommendations using industry standards as reference models
- Knowledge of designing, developing, implementing, or integrating Information Assurance (IA) and security systems and system components
- Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, including MagicDraw or Enterprise Architect to develop and document UML or SysML system architectures
- Knowledge of the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Ability to interact directly with clients to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- BA or BS degree
- Experience with implementing cybersecurity regulations
- Experience with Cybersecurity tools and emerging technologies, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, 5G, or OT and SCADA
- Experience with using scripting tools for computational modeling, including Python or Matlab
- Experience with weapons systems security assessments
- Knowledge of DoD modeling and simulation verification, validation, and accreditation practices; DoD software test planning and execution practices
- Knowledge of best practice Cybersecurity and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks and latest trends
- Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) or International Council on Systems Engineering Systems Engineering Professional (INCOSE ASEP) Certification
