This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. Salary ranges vary by location and work level. This position is hiring for Maryland and Texas.

Salary Range: $77,745 - $172,075 (Entry/Developmental, Full Performance, Senior Levels)

Opportunities may be available to participate in an entry-level development program to further develop Software/Hardware Project Management skills.ResponsibilitiesSoftware/Hardware Project Managers deliver software and/or hardware products and services by determining needs, assessing and tracking system requirements and project statuses. They are responsible for identifying and tracking milestones, planning, allocating resources, and projecting and tracking costs and schedules. They articulate vital project statuses to senior leadership, decision makers, and stakeholders in the form of briefings and written reports.

Software/Hardware Project Managers play a vital role by:

1. Engaging with customers to identify needs and develop requirements2. Assessing and tracking system requirements and project status3. Identifying and tracking project milestones4.
