ALEX Alternative Experts is currently hiring an experienced Mover to act as a Team Lead for the moving services team of a US Government facility.
Moving office furniture and government property
Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm; paid holidays off
Coordinating and scheduling departmental moves and special event setups
Loading and unloading supplies and shipments by utilizing manual or motorized pallet jacks
Required:
3 years packing and moving furniture and boxes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Excellent communication skills to coordinate move team
Ability to lead and train staff by fostering a cooperative work environment
Ability to understand, follow, and enforce Health and Safety policies with team members
Ability to repeatedly lift and move furniture and property exceeding 100lbs
Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required safety equipment
High School Diploma or equivalent
