Rockville based immigration law firm seeks Legal Interns with the possibility of future employment.
Interns will assist with court filings, document preparation, and case management. Interns will be assigned to research and draft court motions and legal memoranda. Interns may also be assigned to assist Attorney with interpretation at client meetings and in all phases of trial preparation with the possibility to attend court hearings.
Interns will engage in fields such as Immigration law, Family law and Criminal law.
Length of the internship: Part-Time or Full-Time, Seasonal, or Semester.
Compensation: Educational credit available. In lieu of salary, stipends may be given to the student to provide for transportation costs, or work-related expenses. Free parking.
Qualifications:
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Be currently enrolled in and attending a high school, college or university and/or in a major course of study that is related to the internship. Full-time and part-time students are accepted.
- Provide an up to date transcript of all courses taken prior to starting the Internship should be provided.
