Maxar is seeking a Senior Capability Engineer to work in an agile and fast paced customer environment supporting users whose mission is to solve unique and challenging problems for Special Operations. The selected candidate will be part of a small multi-disciplinary cyber team and have the unique opportunity to interact directly with users and other technologists to ensure development and tools meet the needs of the customer.Highlights of Responsibilities:- Develop and integrate offensive security tools and solutions and evaluate.
- Adapt publicly available proof-of-concept (POC) code for mission specific requirements.
- Engineer capabilities that are well specified, robust, scalable, and simple to use.
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8 years of experience as a Capability Engineer.
- Experience with common exploit development languages (e.g. assembly/C/Python).
- Experience developing custom cyber operations capabilities.
- Experience in finding, understanding, and adapting existing POC exploits.
- Experience in pen-testing or computer network operations role.
- Experience with open-source offensive security tools and frameworks.
- Ability to rapidly learn new languages, frameworks, and tools.
