And together, we're redefining the future of aerospace. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Systems Engineer to work in remote position based out of Fulton, MD. Raytheon Solipsys is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies (RTX). Solipsys is an industry leader in the development of integrated C4I Network Centric Defense System solutions for both the Domestic and International DoD. In this position you will u tilize Angular and Java to develop innovative new features and improvements that integrate into existing Command & Control (C2) Systems. You will also design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment to address emerging opportunities. We work in ahighly collaborative team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions.Required Experience:
Hands on experience with front-end frameworks like JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
Hands on experience with backend software engineering using Java, including implementing REST APIs
Experience with microservices, event based, SOA and cloud architectures.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Desired Skills:
Strong computer science fundamentals: such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval
Experience using SW Development tools such as Jenkins or similar
Experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test
Experience with Container Orchestration implementation such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift is a plus.
Experience in software development using object oriented design methodologies such as MVC
Experience with unit-test, continuous integration and test-driven development is a plus.
Experience and/or knowledge in programming multithreaded systems.
Engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees.
Strong oral & written communication skills & proven leadership skills

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
