Sr Java DeveloperLocation : Gaithersburg, MDFulltime Responsibilities:
- You will provide technical system solutions and determine the overall design
- Develop and support modules and sub systems of the intranets
- Document systems requirements
- Attend project meetings and communication technical design points
- Develop and document highly complex application programs
- Generate code and correct, convert and/or modify existing code to meet specifications
- Consult with system architects to analyse specified methods and procedures
- Identify problems and document specific requirements
- Perform variety of testing procedures, analyse test results and correct problem
- Provide technical assistance to less experienced personal in the resolution of system related problems
- Self managed with the ability to mentor others
- 8+ years of experience developing Java based web applications
- Experience developing complex websites, work flows and automated solutions in Java
- Ability to assist in gathering, consolidating, and prioritizing functional requirements and identifying/implementing technical solutions
- Struts/Bootstrap/Assets framework based development to include general Java web development, Java/J2EE, JSP
- Experience working with oracle, SQL server, SQL web development tools
- Knowledge of oracle/web logic/tomcat and other application server development environment
- Strong coding and debugging skills
- Exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- A knack of working well both in a team and independent high pressured environment with tight deadlines
- Excellenet documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly effective at exchanging information clearly and concisely
- BS/CS or related degree from and accredited university/college, Master degree is highly desired
- Java certification is plus
- Fluency and clarity in English is essential
- Be able to communicate message effectively
- Client centric attitude

- Talented with balancing with various ongoing tasks and maintaining communication with clients and project leads
