Plumber I

The Plumber I assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems under the guidance of a licensed plumber. This position is designed for individuals who are learning the trade and gaining hands-on experience to become a certified plumber. The role involves working on various plumbing tasks, learning to troubleshoot and repair systems, and developing skills needed to perform the job independently in the future.Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.Install pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment.Assist in connecting plumbing systems to water and sewage lines.Study and adhere to local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.Ensure work is completed in compliance with all relevant industry regulations and specifications.Use and maintain plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, wrenches, soldering Assist in diagnosing plumbing problems and determine appropriate repairs or solutions.Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand plumbing layouts and systems.Help with clearing clogs, fixing leaks, and resolving drainage issues.
