Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking an innovative Quality Assurance Manager for a high-profile opportunity with a leading biotechnology company in the Gaithersburg, MD area. Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Manager include: • Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of the quality assurance team • Collaborates with Manufacturing, Analytical/Process Development, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain for QA deliverables • Leads GMP and non-GMP product release activities, including provision of certificate of analysis (CoA) and regulatory filing content • Serves as point of contact and QA lead for deviations and related investigations • Ensures all aspects of QA adhere to cGMP guidelines • Writes, reviews, and approves technical reports, change controls, investigations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Hires and trains high-quality personnel for temporary, contract, and/or consultant QA personnel • Participates and leads internal, regulatory, and/or partner audits as neededQualifications for the Quality Assurance Manager include: • Bachelor of Science in life sciences or a related field required • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry is required • 3+ years of supervisory experience in industryCompensation for the Quality Assurance Manager includes: • Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate of experience • Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401kKeywords:Quality assurance, qa, quality assurance manager, qa manager, quality, biotechnology, biotech, industry, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biopharma, microbiology, virology, quality control, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, analytical process development, supply chain, good manufacturing practices, gmp, clinical good manufacturing practices, cgmp, standard operating procedures, sops, investigations, audits, technical reports, food and drug administration, fda, therapeutics, drug discovery, research, research and developmentVacancy expired!
