Field & Mobile Integration Specialist to

work on a government contract for a client located in

Greenbelt, MD.

Responsibilities
  • The Field and Mobile Integration Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of data at rest and in motion on mobile devices.
  • Work closely with Technical Integrator infrastructure, DevOps, DaaS and cloud leads to insure the proper controls are in place throughout the infrastructure to support the security of data on the mobile devices.
  • Conducts reviews of all architectural designs and decisions regarding eCase mobile solution and impacts on data security.
  • Brings Best Practices for mobile data protection of mobile and/or other mobile development platforms to the CEDCaP and TI teams.
  • Define mobile security testing scenarios.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on current MDM and MAM solutions and strategies for data protection to the DaaS team.
  • Provide input on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of performance testing and monitoring tools, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.
  • Provide responsive advice, counsel, education and service concerning cloud deployment issues and trends in the IT industry.
  • Work closely with CEDCaP and Decennial technical leadership to communicate finding, risks and remediation of proposed performance issues and best practices.
  • Communicates IT plans, policies, and technology trends throughout the work unit.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships between IT resources and external entities (business units, other government's entities, vendors, etc.).
  • Conduct code review and provide feedback to build team.
  • Participate in QA and UAT Defect Triage.
  • Provide QA and UAT Support.
  • Participate in Design and code Review with the Architects.
  • Provide resolution on technical issues.
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technologies, equipment, and systems.
  • Keep current on laws, mandates, issues, practices, and procedures.
  • Plans, leads, organizes, and controls projects related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of IT systems for the enterprise.
  • Determine operational, technical, tactical, and support requirements; formulates logic; and devises optimum solutions.
  • Reviews and provides input to policies and standard operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for continuous improvement of IT systems.
  • Contributes to the formulation and maintenance of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan
  • Maintains knowledge of current and future technology trends in cloud environments with particular focus to government cloud environments.
  • Evaluate alternatives, performs appropriate cost benefit analysis and recommends solutions balancing costs and acceptable risks.
  • Facilitates customer-focused interaction to ensure objectives are realized and expectations are properly managed.
  • Coordinate activities and programs with other departments to improve service performance.
  • Forecast and generate reports on usage in the cloud to optimize resources in both the physical Data Center and the Cloud

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelors degree required.
  • 10 full-time years of experience in IT resource management.
  • Experience deploying BPMS commercial products in a cloud environmentSolid time management skills with the ability to plan, organize and implement multiple initiatives and deadline-driven workloads while consistently providing outstanding customer service.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Cloud technologies. AWS Certification preferred.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work, both their own and that of project team.
  • Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to enthuse and maintain proposal team interest.
  • Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
  • Prepared to challenge ideas within a group in a constructive way.

  • FedRAMP cloud experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have advanced level knowledge of the concepts, practices, and procedures of deploying and maintaining large System of Systems in the cloud.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT management, administration, applications, and system development lifecycles within a substantial IT environment.
  • Experience in tactical planning, managing IT initiatives and managing in-house technical resources and contracted services.
  • Knowledge of current organizational frameworks (such as ITIL, CMMI, ISO, COBIT, PMI/PMP, Agile, etc.).
  • Relevant knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
  • Proficient in organizational change management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, elected officials, executive leadership, senior management, users, vendors, and subcontractor personnel.
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed expectations and incorporate customer service into all aspects of work.
  • Proven judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated planning and development skills including budget administration and project implementation.
  • Effective management skills including demonstrated ability to successfully direct a staff of highly skilled technology professionals.
