- Omm is seeking an ALC Mainframe Developer to join our team in supporting an existing project with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
- We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate will utilize best practices and will conform to client enterprise architecture, available products, and development methodologies.
- Read existing ALC code to thoroughly and accurately capture the logic
- Create flow diagrams
- Search for, read, and understand business documentation in order to document the ALC code in clear business terms
- Develop and maintain ALC code
- Timely update of project status
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies (Daily Scrum, End of Sprint Review, Interval/Sprint Planning) activities. May also include:
- Participate in walkthroughs/meetings/reviews/coordination efforts
- Active IRS MBI is required.
- ALC Application programming experience; 5+ years experience
- Knowledge of mainframe file data, JCL, run logs, and schedules; 5+ years
- Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning); 5+ years
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel; 5 years
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Skype; 1 year
- Experience using SharePoint; 1 year
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural environment; 1 year
- Experience using Microsoft Visio
- Experience using Rational Team Concert
- Experience with the IRS IMF application
- Experience working on Agile teams
