Description of Assignment:
- Translate Business and Technical Requirements into test cases that validate the full specified functionality of the legacy mainframe application.
- Develop and maintain data required to conduct the test cases
- Ability to conduct functional and regression testing in an IBM Mainframe environment
- Understanding and functioning knowledge of RQM is expected
- Understand and maintain traceability from business requirement through test case.
- Review test output and identify, track, and assist in resolving defects.
- Support unit test, FIT, SAT and any other type of testing required by the organization
- Facilitate, support, and participate in team activities (walkthroughs/meetings/reviews/coordination efforts/scrum meetings/process improvement
- IRS active MBI Required.
- Candidates in the local to Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred, however other location will be considered.
- NOTE - Commuting expenses will not be reimbursed.
- 100% remote until COVID and maybe 1 day on-site work at the Hyattsville, MD office
- Active IRS MBI clearance
- Bachelors Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates. 5+ years of Mainframe experience is required
- Experience with IRS legacy Masterfile (IMF or BMF) is preferred
- Understanding and functioning knowledge of IBM Rational RQM is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management
