Description of Assignment/Role:
- Planning and implementing project management strategies, based on templates and toolsets, ensuring project parameters meet clients' agreed-upon needs and expectations, monitoring existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion, gathering and analyzing project data to identify its weaknesses and resolve any time-related issues, liaising with project team members and providing suggestions or solutions to unforeseen issues when needed, preparing project status reports for management review, communicating with clients about the status and progress of their projects, ensuring all project strategies are in compliance with IRS standards, as well as federal laws and regulations when applicable.
- Bachelors Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates.
- A minimum of 5 8 years collective data and preparing reports for senior leadership.
- Prior experience working on Agile teams.
- Excellent knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and tools.
- Ability to analyze a range of complex data and make decisions based on analytical findings.
- Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
- Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
- Candidates in the local to Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred, however other location will be considered. NOTE - Commuting expenses will not be reimbursed
- 100% remote until COVID and maybe 1 day on-site work at the Hyattsville, MD offic
