Embedded FPGA Software EngineerThe Challenge:

What if you could us e your engineering and computational skills to transform the Army? As an embedded sof tware and firmware engineer, your role will be to develop Field-programmable gate array (FPGA) code for Radio Frequency (RF) systems. We're looking for an electrical and computer engineer who can bring their skills to a team developing a novel approach to communication systems.

Our team needs an FPGA developer that will directly contribute to programing a Xilinx board for a cutting-edge sof tware defined radio (SDR) program in a dynamic prototyping environment. We will look to you to share your FPGA programming expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to us e your experience-based knowledge in FPGA programming while broadening your skillset in mixed-signal RF. You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience with FPGA design and development including logic development, simulation, synthesis, testing, and timing closure
  • Experience with Mixed RF Signals
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado IDE
  • Experience with system behavioral modeling and simulation
  • Knowledge of embedded processor design and IP integration
  • Knowledge of wireless communication DSP
  • Knowledge of Linux environment
  • MA or MS degree in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering
