PURPOSE

As the Product Manager for HealthEdge hosted CareFirst instance of HealthRules product suit, this position will provide product leadership and will be the single-point-of-contact/liaison between CareFirst Business/IT leadership and HealthEdge Inc.

This position will be responsible for defining, monitoring, and maintaining contractual business/IT SLAs and related monthly CareFirst management reporting.

This position will work with CareFirst Business owners to define and prioritize Product enhancement, defect fixes and any other work which needs to be done on HealthEdge hosted CareFirst instance of HealthRules product suit.

This position will own internal/external downstream IT system and Business process impact assessment of all changes made to HealthEdge hosted CareFirst instance of HealthRules product suit.

This position will directly work with Internal and external stakeholders/vendors, engineering teams, DevOps, and other product managers and internal functions, for defining, prioritizing, and delivering features and offerings on HealthEdge hosted CareFirst instance of HealthRules product suit.

This position will also own monthly/quarterly platform upgrade coordination with HealthEdge and SIT/UAT coordination with external venders and CareFirst Business Stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Must Have - Prior HealthCare industry experience.
  • Must Have - Prior experience with HealthEdge HealthRules product suit (Payer, CareManager etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog and release plan for all CareFirst requested enhancements/project etc. for HealthEdge hosted CareFirst instance of HealthRules product suit.
  • Coordinates go-to-market activities with key sales, enrollment, claims, service stakeholders, including external vendor partners to deliver a great customer experience.
  • The ability to work across teams and in a highly matrixed organization.
