Team is in Enterprise data management LOB (Enterprise data services/Greenfield environment/public cloud/complex application) Application is built into Java, Microservices, and processes a lot of dateProject Focus: Migration of application into Snowflake/public cloudMust have 10+ years of Java development experience (currently using Java 11)This is a true hands-on developer role NOT looking for an architectMajority of development is back end any Angular experience is a plus but not requiredMust have experience with Java, Spring Boot, Multithreading, Kafka, Oracle or Vertica databasePublic cloud/Azure/Snowflake experience is a big plus but not requiredWill need to understand the architecture and write their own storiesFully containerized Microservices5k+ data setsWill be a part of the US scrum team will work off 2 week sprint cyclesThere is a separate team who handles testingFinancial services experience is a plus but not requiredTypical working hours are 8am-5pm EST (open to 9am-6pm EST)Potentially 1 long interview or 2-3 shorter rounds of interviews interview will include live codingCandidate must be willing/able to convert to full time employee goal for conversion will be 12 months on projectCandidate should be local to Pittsburgh, PA or willing to relocate upon selection onsite policy is moving to Tues/Wed/Thur candidate must be tied to Pittsburgh to be considered for full time employment
