Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a financial services organization based in Maryland. A technical background in Data Analysis and/or Business Intelligence is being sought to support the analysis and ingestion of Sales and Marketing data. The work will start remotely due to COVID but eventual on-site work is needed. Interviews will take place virtually, and candidate resumes will be considered until Friday March 19th.
Responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst: - Support complex data analysis and ingestion of sales and marketing data from multiple sources
- Identify gaps and draw conclusions from data that impact business goals/processes
- Help design solutions and create documentation
Requirements of the Senior Data Analyst: - At least 6 years of experience in data analysis and/or BI projects focused on data ingestion
- Experience documenting technical and functional specifications for data management applications
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, concepts, and ETL (Informatica or SnapLogic)
- Experience utilizing and analyzing data from Tableau dashboards
- Ability to leverage SQL to analyze relational data
- Ability to handle complex data mapping assignments
- Experience analyzing data in JSON and XML format
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices
