Job Description - Field Operations Manager - REMOTE

Our client is a US based national ISP serving residential and commercial clients with technology solutions in multiple markets across the country. As a part of their growth and expansion they are looking to hire a Regional Field Manager to oversee the Field Technicians in their expanding eastern region of the US.

Job Overview: The Regional Field Manager will oversee the daily field operations of our existing markets as well as launch and oversee field operations in new markets. This person will be responsible for scheduling internal and external resources to complete commercial and residential installs as well as new MDU network build out. The Field Manager's job will be to ensure the quality and efficiencies of all deployments within their area.

Duties:

• Oversee all aspects of daily field operations within the US East Region; including scheduling, inventory,

procurement, and escalations.

• Hiring, firing, training and management of the US West regional Field Operations Team, leading daily

meetings, regular performance evaluations, coaching and all day-to-day administrative tasks.

• Review all construction and engineering documentation for US West Regional projects and assign internal or

external resources to complete the project to specifications.

• Ensure the production of as-built documentation for construction phases are completed.

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders through multiple communication channels to ensure all field tasks

are scheduled and completed on time and within budget. Keep all stakeholders informed of construction

progress and any project blockers as it relates to in field deployment.

• Delegate and assign daily responsibilities to the field team, ensuring efficient use of company resources and

periodic quality control.

• Provide all field personnel with proper job/site safety training and documentation. Audit in field work to

ensure all safety standards and guidelines are being maintained.

• Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and hardware in the

market, work with the Network Engineering team for in field support for system maintenance.

• Develop and oversee a vehicle fleet management program.

• Evaluation of business processes, procedures and systems, developing and executing improvement

projects when necessary to drive efficiency and reduce cost.

• Produce reporting and visibility for cross-functional managers to ensure company policies are enforced

and followed.

• Review financial information and prepare department budgets to reduce costs and promote profitability.

• Develop and achieve strategic installation/support goals and KPIs.

Education/Experience/Skills Desired:
  • 3+ years as a Field Manager, preferably within telecom but not required.
  • 3+ years with telecommunications/cellular/wireless industry.
  • 3+ years with Field Service Management tools.
  • Ability to effectively speak, communicate and present information to customers, clients, tenants, employees of the organization and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to escalations
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Travel may be required on a regular basis.
