We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Product Owner role to join our Arrow Digital Product Team, a group passionately committed to turning ideas into reality and managing the entire product lifecycle.

As Product Owner you are part of the larger Product Team, which consists of multiple Product Managers and Product Owners spanning across other development and business teams, supporting our major e-commerce and e-business websites.

In this role you will be supporting one of our agile development teams, the Data team. This team is responsible for the overall data management of our multiple e-commerce websites. They primarily deal with building, expanding and managing the different data streams, data sets and data storages. There are internal and external integrations, driving product properties, inventory, and pricing across multiple regions and applications. Your role is responsible for maximizing the value produced by the Data team and ensuring user stories meet the user's needs and comply with our Definition of Done. Outside of the Data team itself (Scrum Master, Developers, QA) you will partner and collaborate with overall Product Management, Planning & Delivery, UI/UX, and other (business) stakeholders, to refine and prioritize stories in the teams backlog. Ensure accuracy and consistency when defining processes and provide guidance and feedback on requirements gathering, definition, acceptance, and validation/testing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide support through proper planning that streamlines the execution of priorities
  • make hard calls on scope and competing priorities while realistically managing stakeholder demands and solve prioritization bottlenecks between teams
  • Lead regular backlog refinement meetings to help estimate relative feature value and update delivery forecasts to aid prioritization
  • minimize oversubscription of Data team and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Coordinate with the Scrum Master to facilitate short feedback loops between delivery teams and stakeholders through frequent deliveries and sharing of lessons learned.
  • Participate in system demos at the end of the iteration and provide story/feature acceptance per the pre-agreed "Definition of Done" criteria.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a dynamic and collaborative team member who wants to work hard, find innovative solutions, and see results in real-world applications. A strong candidate will have the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience working with software based products, or in the IT field as appropriate
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC in an agile environment
  • Familiarity with web application development and design, database technology and ETL tools; Even better if you have experience with Hybris Commerce, SQL Server, MySQL and search engine technology.
  • Ability to write basic to intermediate Sql queries/statements
  • In-depth experience with agile methodologies
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote.
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, plus accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in solving complex problems, dealing with ambiguity, and organizational agility
  • Working knowledge of software development and eCommerce web technologies
  • Experience using Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA & Confluence

Education:

5-7 years related experience with a 4 year degree; or 4 years experience and an advanced degree

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$91,600.00 - $115,500.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
