- B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant technical field
- Possess a combination of the following:
- Experience with design, development, testing, deploying, and debugging Camunda 7 and 8 applications (or similar technology)
- Experience with development of BPMN (v 2.0) diagrams, process flows and rules-based engines.
- Experience with BPMN/orchestration/process automation
- Experience with translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and workflows using Camunda.
- Experience with configuring a Camunda environment.
- Experience in business process improvement or business process re-engineering projects using Camunda.
- Experience in working with Microservices architecture using Camunda BPMN
- Knowledge with migrating legacy BPM processes and rules to the latest version of Camunda.
- Able to collaborate with Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to implement robust solutions
- Several years' experience with Java and Java web frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
- Experience of integrating Camunda with other applications via REST APIs
- Experience working in cloud environments.
- Experience with enterprise messaging systems (EMS, Kafka) and in-memory databases.
- Several years' experience working with traditional relational or document databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
- Experience working with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket)
- Able to work and collaborate remotely, be self-directed, work independently and communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology
- Some combination of the following:
- Experiencing leading and/or mentoring junior developers
- Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and an understanding of cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud databases, CI/CD, serverless computing etc.
- Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, VB/C#, Python, Ruby, .Net etc.
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular, VueJS, React etc.)
- Experience with Automated API testing using tools such as JBehave, cucumber, or Selenium
