SummaryThis position is located in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations, Assistant for Operations. The supervisorfor this positionisSherri Miotla, Acting Deputy Assistant for Operations. This is a Non-Bargaining unitposition.ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Administrative Specialist in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations (OEDO), you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties in support of the office such as: 1) Provide overall corporate and administrative management and coordination for the office; 2) Develop and implement improvements in handling aspects of day-to-day office administrative and technical operations; 3) Assemble briefing material and information on specific projects undertaken by the OEDO; 4)Provide OEDO management with assistance in interpretation and implementation of NRC policies and procedures in administrative or procedural areas; 5) Lead OEDO administrative assistants in day to day activities and distribute work among the administrative assistants and ensures timely completion; and 6) Serve as the office expert and authoritative focal point on all aspects of correspondence management in the OEDO.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentThis is a Drug Testing position.You must meet the qualifications for this position by no later than 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement and before placement in the position.QualificationsTo qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.GG-12: Specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GG-11) is defined as experience that is demonstrated by your specific expertise in performing a variety of administrative management, assistant and lead duties; performing assignments that include administrative management, analysis and coordination;and correspondence management.
