Piper Companies is seeking a Research Associate to join a growing biotech organization in the Rockville, Maryland area dedicated to the research and development of various therapeutics and treatments.
Responsibilities for the Research Associate include:- Review and evaluate data
- Perform experiments and run assays
- Prepare and process samples for studies
- Maintain inventory and laboratory resources
- Adhere to all appropriate SOPs
- Develop and update technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documents
- Verify that the required documentation information is complete and correct
- 4-year degree. or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field
- 1+ years experience of experience processing peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC)
- Prior experience working in a GLP/GxP environment preferred
- Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 annually, determined by relevant years experience
