Overview

ZeniMax is looking for an experienced Producer to join our Business Intelligence team in Rockville, MD and support our family of studios making some of the best games in the industry. The producer must excel at project management, including possessing excellent communication, scope management, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the feature roadmap and manages the project schedule for delivering successful business intelligence solutions in collaboration with studio stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers
  • Engages in proactive risk management, identifying and communicating blockers or risks that may put project delivery at risk, and supporting the determination of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitates prioritization of tasks with key studio stakeholders and business partners.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key studio stakeholders and business partners.
  • Writes weekly project status reports
  • Leads team project meetings
  • May be assigned other project work, as needed, including internal BI projects as well as BI projects with other studios.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience managing short-term and long-term projects, preferably in a business intelligence environment; experience in both agile and waterfall, with an understanding of the pros and cons of each, is desired.
  • Success managing project activities with teams of 8 or more people, located in 3 or more geographic locations
  • Thorough understanding of requirements gathering and scope definition processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects of varying sizes under deadlines

Preferred Skills

  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • A personal interest in video gaming
  • Tableau or Power BI experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with data storage solutions
