Job Summary: Signature Consultants is seeking a Senior PHP Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Rockville, MD. This individual will be involved in software and iPad app development, with a primary focus on a proprietary aviation safety management system (SMS) Web application and document automation. Responsibilities:

Software development
Project Management: Lead all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for internal and contractor-based projects
Perform QA checks on your and your other teammate's work
Test new features across a variety of browsers and devices

Required:

8+ years Modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc.) preferably on large object-oriented applications
5+ years working with a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
5+ years Linux/Unix-based operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Mac OS X, etc.)
5+ years HTML/JavaScript/CSS experience (e.g. Vue.js 2.6)
Experience with iOS Development tools and languages (Xcode, Objective-C, Swift)
Knowledge of RESTful Web services, including API development, documentation, as well as third-party API integration
Familiarity with at least one technical support tracking software (e.g., ZenDesk, FreshDesk, etc.)
The ability to complete technical tasks using continuous integration and deployment (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.)

Desired Skills:

The use of both Windows and Mac, specifically Mac OS X and iOS
Experience with jQuery and Bootstrap
Familiarity with at least one issue-tracking tool (e.g., JIRA, Github Issues, etc.)
Capable of performing a limited scope of tasks using Adobe Captivate
Comfortable with agile development methodologies
