Guidehouse is responsible for providing systems analyst support for a global health initiative (PEPFAR) for our client at the Department of State. The analyst serving in this role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, testing and data validation, providing user support and supporting end user training, and performing other project management support for software and data solutions. Excellent attention to detail, superior communication skills, ability to develop and monitor project timelines and use Agile project methodologies will make this person a key member of our systems delivery team at the U.S. Department of State. Qualifications

The following skills/experience/knowledge are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • An Active or Interim Secret Clearance

The following skills/experience/knowledge are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:
  • IT project management: requirements management/analysis, schedule management/support
  • Software quality assurance: integration testing, user acceptance testing (script development and management)
  • Communications Support: training materials development, delivering trainings, and providing end-user support
  • Data Analysis: data validation and analysis
  • Meeting management: agenda development, meeting coordination, clear note-taking
  • Certifications Preferred: PMP/CAPM/SCRUM Master
  • Skills Preferred:
    • Demonstrates abilities and success with working in IT Project Management, Product Development or related field to deliver projects and products on time and on budget using Agile methodologies
    • Demonstrates ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
    • Demonstrates abilities to collaborate with teams, manage and deliver against assigned tasks, escalate risks, set agendas, and milestones, and ensure timely delivery
    • Demonstrates abilities and success with working with clients to understand and document needs, translating those needs into requirements
    • Demonstrates abilities and success interfacing/liaising with technical teams to capture requirements, test systems, remove blocking issues, and escalate risks as necessary (conduct systems testing in IT systems related to workstreams)
    • Demonstrates abilities and success using presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to understand and solution for complex problems
    • Demonstrates abilities and success with working in IT Project Management, Product Development or related field to deliver project and products on time and on budget using Agile methodologies
  • Preferred software experience:
    • Confluence/JIRA, GitHub, Microsoft Office
