Job Description
As a Senior Director, Client Technology Services, you will drive the vision, strategy, planning, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of technology at Children's National Hospital as part of the Bear Institute for Health Innovation. You will also drive the completion of annual financial planning, and technology and security infrastructure improvements while developing and enhancing relationships with C-suite executives. You will lead the development of process improvements and evolution of the overall technology vision and strategy and have oversight for the delivery of services and technology solutions. You will be responsible for the development of the overall technology roadmap; provide oversight of the execution, direct the study, design and implementation of new systems and equipment; and ensure infrastructure architecture meets standards, maximizes efficiency, and supports enterprise architecture principles.As a senior leader and manager of people, you will seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. As a leader, you will lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team, as well as create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability, and recognize their accomplishments. In addition, you will identify the right talent to achieve the desired results and promote and build a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.Qualifications Basic QualificationsAt least 14 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of hospital based information technology experience
- At least 5 years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of network architecture, information security management, and service management
- Experience with data center transformation strategy a plus
- Reside in or willingness to relocate to the Washington, DC area
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
