Job Description: We are searching for a Lab Analyst to join our growing team at one of the largest water and wastewater utilities in the nation! This is a contract role located in Silver Spring, MD and focuses are in Environmental Science, Water Sampling, Ph, Conductivity. Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Silver Spring, MD [FULLY ON-SITE]

Duration: Long-term contract

Hours: M-F 9-5pm (40 hrs/ week)

DESCRIPTION:

Inspects customer collected water samples to ensure appropriate procedures have been followed with regard to the collection and the labeling of samples
Performs a variety of chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis on aqueous and non-aqueous samples
Maintains, cleans, and prepares glassware and other laboratory appliances for use in various analytical procedures
Receives, logs, preserve and distributes samples to laboratory chemist

EXPERIENCE:

AS or BS in life science, preferably environmental science
1-2 years' experience with waste water or drinking water sampling
