Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for numerous complex projects in a fast-paced, and innovative environment. This position will be a key member of a team that works closely with clinicians and business leaders while supporting the Bear Institute vision where every child grows to their highest level of health and potential through the advancement of information, technology and innovation. You will develop business case requirements documentation, project charters, timelines, communication plans, issues lists, risk registers, as well as drive project milestones through implementation. As a member of this team, you will work with stakeholders to determine project requirements, scope, resources, cost and timelines in addition to managing vendors, demos, and project requirements through assessment, selection and contracting. In addition, you will track tasks, create accountability, monitor risk and escalate appropriately. You must be able to prioritize across projects, tasks, and work assignments to keep all assigned projects moving forward.Qualifications Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of project management work experience
- Healthcare IT project management experience and working knowledge of hospital and clinic departmental workflows
- Experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions, such as Cerner, Allscripts, Epic, etc.
- Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI)
- Advanced knowledge of current IT and Healthcare technologies
