Our industry-leading client is looking for a Senior SDET/Technical QA Lead to work hybrid in the Silver Spring, MD area.

Responsibilities of the Senior SDET/Technical QA Lead:- Design tests and help other QAs with the technical details
- Focus on end to end testing and coordinate with other QAs/teams as needed
- Create and review test plans
- Provide technical direction to the QAs on the team
- The person is expected to divide their time between analysis & planning, manual testing and writing automated tests (likely 50/50 or 60/40 automation/manual split)
- Take ownership of the assigned module/app and participate in all the activities from requirements review to production deployment
- Read, create & maintain basic Python code snippets for testing purposes
- Strong experience in QA and API testing
- Experience in creating automated UI & API tests using Java, Selenium & Rest Assured library
- Experience in Python will be a big plus
- Experience in understanding of data flow through systems (end-to-end)
