Cybersecurity Analyst (RMF) to work in our

Suitland, MD office.

Job Description:
  • Provide Cybersecurity analysis and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) expertise required to support executing all steps necessary for DoD's Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization packages and assure applications/systems maintain a valid authorization.
  • Review security requirements, products, configurations and architectures necessary to ensure the government and vendor's security architecture and associated authorization documentation meets Department of the Navy and Department of Defense security controls and standards.
  • Develop recommended direction on Cybersecurity and A&A matters.
  • Provide programmatic support in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Participate in collaboration team meetings to coach program managers and IA practitioners through certification and compliance processes.
  • Track critical IA processes and elements through use of automated and semi-automated tools.
  • Maintain accurate, steady and consistent flow of information in response to client direction through established processes.
  • Enhance existing IA doctrine and processes through application of project management skills.
  • May include assignment as primary action officer or project management liaison which will require advanced communications, negotiation, coordination and facilitation skills.
Leadership opportunities in development of local and Navy level IA and A&A policy may also be available.

Required Skills:
  • US Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
  • Must possess security certification for the Information Assurance Technical (IAM) II in accordance with the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, DoD 8570.1-M. certification required
  • One year experience performing information assurance tasks in operational network environments
  • One year experience in security test and evaluation
  • One year experience under Risk Management Framework and risk management methodologies (DODI 8510.01)
  • One year experience with ACAS and DISA STIGS
  • Thorough knowledge of DODD 8500.1 and other IA guidance
  • Excellent communications skills; both oral and written

Desired Skills:
  • Three years' experience performing information assurance tasks in operational network environments
  • Three years' experience in security test and evaluation
  • Three years' experience with ACAS and DISA STIGS
