You'll get to:
  • Successfully deliver projects that achieve all quality, performance,scheduleand cost objectives in across-functional environment
  • Recommend sound product design decisions following a thorough analysis of complex data
  • Be a key member of a teamresponsiblefor the technical design responsibility utilizing 2D and 3D design capabilities to deliver technically sound solutions
  • Participate and provide feedback in hands-on concept development and prototyping
  • Understanding ofmanufacturing processes -molding, casting, turning/milling, powdered metal, stampings, extrusions and forming
  • Some travel required (Domestic & International)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required
  • At least3years of Mechanical Design experience preferred with manufacturing exposure
  • Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and 2D drawing best practices
  • Basic knowledge and experience with electro-mechanical design, electronic assemblies, and/or DC circuits is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills & hand on abilities to build prototypes, diagnose problems, and report findings or corrective actions
  • Experience designing products for a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Quickly identify and respond to shifting project priorities
