What You'll DoThe Senior Product Engineer-Cordless Connection will be responsible for design, development and manufacturing support of power tool attachments concepts that will meet our manufacturing, safety, quality, compliance, cost, and marketing objectives.
  • Create/develop models, drawings, prototypes, BOMS, cost info, etc. and complete necessary product testing.
  • Document and maintain product development schedules.
  • Work in coordination with Product Management, Marketing, Operations and Customer Base teams to transform customer input into robust designs.
  • Generate 3D Models in CAD (Catia or Creo/Pro-E)
  • Create and publish drawings from CAD models for purchased and manufactured components.
  • Develop,documentand maintain project tasks and schedules and execute project tasks as required.
  • Specify performance testing parameters, executetestsand document compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Improve existing products using analytical techniques to better meet customer requirements. Investigate cost reduction opportunities within manufacturing facility and optimize product designs to make improvements in manufacturing processes.

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in mechanical engineering related fields.
  • More than5years' experience in mechanical design.
  • Skillful in least one 3D design software (Creo(Pro/E), CATIAetc).
  • Versed indesign of experiment.
  • Familiar with power tools and it's applications.
  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes.Expertise in at least one process.
  • Creative, logical, open-minded, life-long learner, who issensitive to customer demands and technical trends.
