The Team

Global Operations is undergoing a transformation focused on optimizing the entire supply chain to serve customers faster and better.As a part of Global Operations, the Workforce Readiness teamis responsible for theend to endlaboreremployee experience in our manufacturing plants and distribution centers- over 35,000 employees globally.This team is focused on implementing a world-class, innovative employee experience that enables our operations workforce to support the growing needs of our industry, including lean skill sets, industry 4.0, and automation.This position will play a critical role in supporting that employee experience throughout their journey.The team partners closely with various Global Operations leaders and teams to implement solutions and technology toupskill our employees and enhanceourOperations performance.

The Challenge

AsData &Analytics leadfor Workforce Readiness, you will act as the Analytical expert and will provide analytic leadership to support hourly workforce efforts for Human Resources, Diversity Equity, and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, representational reporting and analytics, planning, forecasting, root cause analysis,training effectiveness and process improvements.You will collaborate with other key pillars within Workforce Readiness such as Upskilling, Training Innovation, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and Talent Development to make recommendations on opportunities for continuous improvement and new best practices for Workforce Readiness.You'll work closely with business leaders to develop innovative analytic solutions, create actionableinsights,and drive better decisions and performance to help Stanley Black & Decker team fulfill its mission of Operations Excellence through People & Technology.

What you will Do:

• Develop innovative analytic solutions, root cause analysis, create actionable insights and drive better decisions and performance to help the business achieve its short/long term objectives

• Create dashboard of KPIs for hourly workforce

• Formulate hypothesis, develop queries and models to evaluate hypothesis and formulate solutions to drive process & performance improvement with various employee life-cycle stages

• Collaborate and educate stakeholders with engaging presentations and clearly written documents incorporating compelling storytelling and visualization

• Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, projects and / or approaches

• Conduct databased research on innovative best practices and key partnership survey tracking, completion and submission

• Support data governance and employee confidentiality

• Coordinate accurate and timely data entry&acquisition from global stakeholders

What you need to Succeed

Qualifications:

• Passionate about transforming hourly workforce, bringing about change to how we view talent

•Self-starter with solid influencing and facilitation skills

• Analytic thought leadership with skills in developing innovative and creative analytic solutions to complex problems

• Strong business acumen and critical thinking ability

• Presentation skill - ability to "tell a compelling story" ina concise and effective manner

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate, identify and diagnose problems and make recommendations

• Detail orientation - getting "into the trenches" to evaluate all aspects of operations.

• 7 years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, or Business Intelligence roles

•A Bachelor's degree(Statistics, Data Sciences orrelated analytical field preferred)

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Robust skills with analytical tools and technologies including excel, SQL, business intelligence tools and various visualization tools (i.e.Tableau,PowerBI,FineReport, etc.)

• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders that improves team credibility

•Able to work collaboratively across global Business Units

• Effective analytical collaboration in the form of reviewing and soliciting feedback on analysis

• Self-starter accountable for creating deliverables in high quality independently

•Help improve an inclusive culture

• Prior HR and / or Inclusion & Diversity data analysis

• Workforce Planning database management
