Kelly Technology is seeking a Technical System Analyst for a remote contract to hire opportunity with Stanley Black & Decker.
Skills and Experience: Expert business analysis with ability to work through large and complex data sets in various states of health. Depth of knowledge in product information management (PIM) technologies, including applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products, and frameworks. Experience in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines, including API. Strong experience in technology implementation and enrichment projects and ETL/ELT. Knowledge of core information management concepts: data quality, data modelling, taxonomy, reference data, data migration, data integration. Direct experience as product owner, administrator, or operational support lead. Experience developing and/or maintaining global data dictionaries. Proven ability to collaborate with business teams to understand, translate, review and playback requirements into logical data models, UI specs, and taxonomies. Depth of experience in working in IT systems to deliver business change, understanding business' decision-making process, goals, and business objectives, and translating those into functional requirements.Key Responsibilities- Provide operational support for global PIM.
- Work with stakeholders in IT or business to identify, test, and resolve product or related technical issues (e.g. integration, data).
- Assist the Product Owner/Technology Lead with gathering, documenting, analyzing business requirements. Translate actions and impacts to developers and other teams (e.g. architecture).
- Execute (self-directed) and work with developers on change requests, enhancements, bugs, data cleansing and other tasks to ensure the system is working optimally and meeting business expectations.
- Perform data reconciliation and other analysis.
- Prepare and test product upgrades.
- Collaborate with Project Manager to create, estimate, assign tickets; contribute to refinement of backlog.
- Author technical playbook chapters and power-user-focused guidelines and instructions.
- Assist in the maintenance of Data Dictionaries.
- Work with vendor partner to resolve issues, prepare and plan for configuration changes or enhancements.
- Clearly and effectively communicate to teams across the enterprise about the backend structure of the PIM platform, including sharing details on logical data model, API, business workflows, or associated logic apps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deliver high quality PIM data to enterprise data lake/Snowflake.
- Engage with the business to demonstrate solutions and products, effectively communicate the key value propositions, and confirm technical viability.
- Collaborate with data specialists, product owners and systems integrations teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
- BA education or career experience equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in fast pace of change.
- Capacity to work across range of stakeholders and drive progress while moving easily between strategy support and execution.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions when necessary to support specific efforts.
- Can quickly identify, relate, and apply concepts and rules to resolve routine issues.
- Adept at working in globally diverse teams across different time zones.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to decompose a large problem into smaller executable pieces.
